Synthetic testosterone derivatives are anabolic steroids. Anabolic agents improve nitrogen equilibrium, but only if enough calories and protein are consumed. It is uncertain if this positive nitrogen balance is of primary importance in the use of protein-building dietary components. Oxymetholone enhances erythropoietin production and urine excretion in people with bone marrow failure anemias and frequently increases erythropoiesis in those with anemias caused by a lack of red blood cell formation.

Androlic (Oxymetholone) 50mg

nadrol®-50 Tablets are used to treat anemias caused by low red cell production. Acquired aplastic anemia, congenital aplastic anemia, myelofibrosis, and hypoplastic anemias caused by myelotoxic drug delivery frequently respond. Anadrol®-50 Tablets should not be used in place of additional supportive measures such as transfusion, iron, folic acid, vitamin B12, pyridoxine deficiency correction, antimicrobial therapy, or the appropriate use of corticosteroids.

Anabolic steroids and warfarin have been shown to have clinically significant pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic interactions in healthy volunteers. When starting anabolic steroid therapy in a patient currently on warfarin, the INR (international normalized ratio) or prothrombin time (PT) should be continuously monitored, and the warfarin dose should be modified as needed until a stable INR or PT is obtained. Furthermore, when the ANADROL Tablets dose is modified or terminated in patients receiving both ANADROL Tablets and warfarin, close monitoring of the INR or PT and, if necessary, adjustment of the warfarin dosage are recommended. Patients should be regularly examined for occult bleeding signs and symptoms.
