TRANXENE is prescribed for the treatment of anxiety disorders or for the short-term relief of anxiety symptoms. Anxiety or tension caused by everyday stress does typically not necessitate the use of an anxiolytic.
TRANXENE pills are prescribed as an additional treatment for partial seizures.
Systematic clinical trials have not been conducted to evaluate the efficacy of TRANXENE tablets in the long-term management of anxiety, that is, for more than four months. Long-term investigations in epileptic patients, on the other hand, have revealed sustained therapeutic activity. The physician should examine the drug’s usefulness for the individual patient on a regular basis.
TRANXENE pills are used to treat the symptoms of acute alcohol withdrawal.
