Description
Roxicet (Oxycodone & Acetaminophen) 10/650mg
For moderate pain, take 21/2 (2.5) to 5 mg of oxycodone every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
Take 10 mg of oxycodone every 4 to 6 hours as needed for severe pain.
Each day, use no more than 3,000–4,000 mg of acetaminophen.
(Each tablet or liquid dose includes 300 mg to 650 mg of acetaminophen, depending on your doctor’s instructions.)

Take the drug precisely as directed.
If your pain is not eased, contact your doctor; do not take an extra dose.
While taking this medication, do not take acetaminophen (Tylenol).
Do not consume nonprescription cough and cold medications or other acetaminophen-containing medications while taking this medication.
Do not drive or operate equipment while taking this medication because it may make you sleepy and impair your coordination; take caution when climbing stairs.
Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication.
Do not begin or discontinue any medication, including nonprescription medications, herbs, and vitamins, without first seeing your doctor or pharmacist.
Oxycodone is an opioid that produces an extreme sense of well-being and can lead to physical and psychological dependence with long-term use.
