Pregnyl (Chorionic Gonadotropin) 5000 I.U

The human placenta produces HCG, a polypeptide hormone with an alpha and a beta subunit. The alpha subunits of human pituitary gonadotropins, luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) are nearly identical. The amino acid sequence of the beta subunits of these hormones varies.

HCG should not be used on a regular basis. The frequency with which this medicine is given depends on the condition being treated. Medical testing may be required to determine how long you should use HCG.

Any combination medication should be refrigerated. Novarel blended must be used within 30 days of purchase. Between 60 and 90 days following conception, Pregnyl should be used. Contact your pharmacist if the medicine has changed colors or has particles in it.

Storage of Ovidrel prefilled syringes:

Refrigerate until the expiration date has passed, then dispose.

It can be stored at room temperature for up to 30 days.
