Description
Oxymetholone IH 50mg
The main male sex hormone testosterone has well-known anabolic actions, and this property is retained in synthetic derivatives such as nandrolone (19-nortestosterone). Synthetic, 17-alpha-alkylated compounds (oxymetholone, stanozolol, oxandrolone, danazol) are orally active and, in animals, show selectivity for anabolic versus classic androgenic activity, although the evidence for such selectivity in the human is unclear. These agents are/have been used for their anabolic properties in several disease states, including anemia, post-menopausal osteoporosis, hereditary angioneurotic edema and AIDS-related wasting myopathy. They are subject to abuse by athletes.https://www.familyfarepharmacy.net/
Oxymetholone IH 50mg
Oxymetholone is only part of a treatment program that may also include blood transfusions and/or using other medicines. Follow your doctor’s instructions very closely.
Once your condition is under control, you may be able to stop taking oxymetholone. Some people must continue taking a small amount of oxymetholone to keep their red blood cells from getting too low. You may need to take oxymetholone for the rest of your life. Follow your doctor’s instructionshttps://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/veterinary-science-and-veterinary-medicine/oxymetholone
Adverse effects from these agents are attributed to the pharmacologic action of androgens on various body systems. Increased masculine effects are common. Increased incidence of some tumors has been reported in people. Some 17-alpha–methylated oral anabolic steroids (oxymetholone, stanozolol, and oxandrolone) are associated with hepatic toxicity. Stanozolol administration in cats with kidney disease has been shown to consistently produce increased hepatic enzymes and hepatic toxicosis.
Contraindications and Precautions
Do not administer to cats with kidney disease. Use cautiously in dogs that have other pre-existing disease such as liver failure. Do not administer to pregnant animals. Stanozolol, like other anabolic steroids, has a high potential for abuse in humans. This drug is abused by humans to enhance athletic performance and increase muscle development.
Drug Interactions
No drug interactions have been reported in animals.
