Hormones such as estrogen or progestin
Lidocaine, pramoxine, and tetracaine are examples of general anesthetics.

Opioids are pain relievers.

  Halcion (Triazolam) 0.250mg Never give this medication to another individual, especially someone who has a history of drug addiction. MISUSE CAN CAUSE ADDICTION, OVERDOSE, OR DEATH. Keep the medication out of reach of others. It is illegal to sell or give away this medication.
Take this medication only before going to bed. You may fall asleep soon after taking the medication.
Avoid using Halcion to prevent jet lag when flying.
If your insomnia does not improve after 7 to 10 nights of taking Halcion, or if you notice any changes in your mood or behavior, contact your doctor. Insomnia can be a symptom of sadness, mental disease, or certain physical disorders.
Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, do not take Halcion for more than ten nights in a row.
Do not discontinue using Halcion without first consulting your doctor. If you stop taking the medication abruptly after a lengthy period of use, you may experience life-threatening withdrawal symptoms. Some withdrawal symptoms can linger for up to a year or more.
