Description
Endocet (Oxycodone & Acetaminophen) 10/325mg
When other pain medicines are ineffective or fail to function, oxycodone and acetaminophen are combined. Patients are given acetaminophen to help with pain and fever. When ingested over time, it does not establish a habit. When taken in large dosages, acetaminophen can cause serious side effects, including liver damage. Oxycodone is a narcotic analgesic (pain reliever). It relieves pain by acting on the central nervous system (CNS). When oxycodone is used frequently, it can become a habit, which can lead to mental or physical dependence. People suffering from chronic pain, on the other hand, should not be deterred from using opioids to alleviate their symptoms for fear of becoming addicted.
