Regarding liquids or chewable tablets with short half-lives that are intended for oral administration:
Adults 30 to 45 minutes before meals, take two or three doses daily.
The usual dosage is twenty to thirty milligrams (mg) per day.

The Concerta tablets should not be broken, chewed, or crushed.
The tablets should be taken whole, along with any other liquids like water. If you or your kid has trouble swallowing the tablet whole,

Even when it has all been released from the Concerta tablet, the medication does not entirely disintegrate in the body. It’s possible that periodically, while having a poop, you or your child will discover the empty tablet. This is by no means exceptional.

Adolescents between the ages of 13 and 17: 18 mg once a day in the morning, initially. Your dosage may need to be changed by your doctor. Nonetheless, the daily intake is often limited to 72 milligrams.
Children aged 6 to 12: First, administer 18 mg once a day in the morning. Your dosage may need to be changed by your doctor. But, the daily dose is typically not higher than 54 mg.
