Bensedin (Diazepam) 10mg
Bensedin (Diazepam) 10mg is used to treat anxiety disorders or to temporarily reduce anxiety symptoms. Anxiety or tension induced by daily stress does not usually warrant the use of an anxiolytic. Bensedin may be used to treat the symptoms of acute agitation, tremors, impending or acute delirium tremens, and hallucinosis during alcohol withdrawal.
Oral Bensedin can be used as a supplement to other treatments for convulsive disorders, but it has not been proven to be successful as the primary treatment.
There have been no systematic clinical trials to test the efficacy of Bensedin in long-term use, that is, for more than four months. Frequently, the physician should assess the drug’s usefulness for the individual patient.
Bensedin is also used to treat the conditions listed below: Alcohol withdrawal syndrome, Anxiety, Anxiety Disorders, Epilepsy Refractory, Intermittent seizure pattern that is not consistent with the patient’s typical seizure pattern, stereotypic episode Epilepsy-related seizures Refractory seizure disorders, Skeletal muscle spasms Sedation, Perioperative management therapy
Bensedin (Diazepam) 10mg
is an anticonvulsant, sedative, muscle relaxant, and amnesic benzodiazepine tranquilizer.
Diazepam and other benzodiazepines bind to receptors in the brain and spinal cord. The inhibitory effects of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) are enhanced by this binding. GABA’s actions include CNS participation in the induction of sleep. Also controls hypnosis, memory, anxiety, epilepsy, and neural excitability.
